Hi,

I was wondering how to access custom video playback options in PowerPoint. I am making a PowerPoint presentation with some videos in it. The videos are of small duration (showing different movements of the human heart). I want the videos to loop till I click and then finish the video and proceed to the next slide. I can get the videos to loop and I can get them to proceed when I click but when I click the presentation moves directly to the next slide (leaving the video half played which makes it look chopped). So I need the video to wait for me to click and when I click I want it to play the ongoing cycle of the video and then move to the next slide when the ongoing cycle of the video finishes. I don't really want to look at the projector screen while presenting to make sure that I click exactly when the cycle ends. Hence the requirement of this playback option. 

I tried using VB to code this but I couldn't find the right documentation for such specific information. Please let me know what can be done.

Could you tell me how did you want to get you result? Did you want to use VBA code to get your result?

First of all, I suggest you try to make the video stop at a later point in time, do the following steps:
1.In the Custom Animations pane, select the pause animation dropdown box of the video and select Timing... menu item. The  pause animation for a video is like two vertical bars: Video Pause
2.Select With Previous in the Start box.
3.Put the number of seconds you want the video to play in the Delay box.
4.Click OK button.
This will make PowerPoint play the video for that many number of seconds and then pause the video.
