I have a DC with GC running Exchange 2007 Iam planning to install exchange 2010 on a member server before that I have to install the Exchange 2007 SP2 on the DC which has the exchange 2007. I want to know will there be any issues if I run the Exchange SP2 on the DC. GJ

Thanks for that information, Since I have only a single DC which is a serious problem and therefore I am planning to setup the second DC, but before that I have to move my Exchange 2007 from that DC server hence I have planned to install the Exchange 2007 on a new member sever and move all mailboxes and connectors to the new server and then setup the second DC will this plan work out please advise me if there is any issues on this plan. In itself, there should be no issues. But sometimes you might face some minor problems when you try to remove an Exchange server. Install Exchange on a member server, move the mailboxs to the new server, de-install your Exchange server on your DC. See for instance here.
