Client called saying print spooler not working and no printers are in the Printers Folder now. After looking at the Performance Tab on the properties page, I determined that DEP was preventing the print spooler from working. I told it to ignore the Spooler Subsytem App on the performance tab and restarted computer. The print spooler was still not running upon restart. I manually started the service to no avail. The error was listed as one of the fixes that is included in XP Service Pack 3 but it still does not work. I have completed a total system virus scan as somewhere DEP told me that that is a common cause and the system is clean. I am at a total loss. Someone Help Me ... please!
