DNS entries with public IP address
Hi All,
Just a quick question, which record that I need to put as public IP address so that my Exchange Server 2007 working with Outlook Anywhere externally ?
1. domain.com A record
2. mail.domain.com MX record
3. Autodiscover.domain.com A Record same as number 2
3. Activesync.domain.com A Record same as number 2
is that all that is needed or I should add some more like SRV record ?

Hello
For external use you can point your public ip for
Mail.domain.com for MX
Autodiscover.domain.com as SRV record
activesync.domain.com
This names you can point with Public ip on hosting site or at your ISP
Also make sure that you have reverse dns entry for mail.domain.com

As I know, it shall work with the records below
MX record: domain.com (Point to mail.domain.com)
A record: mail.domain.com
A record: Autodiscover.domain.com (For AutoDiscover)

ok, so "A record: Autodiscover.domain.com" which point into the public facing TMG 2010 adapter right or the same IP address as activesync.domain.com ?/* Server Support Specialist */
