DPM Fails Recovery Point Syncronization
I have one large data server, storing 1.5 TB of data. I am trying to protect this server with DPM2007 SP1, however when it tries to run a daily recovery point, it always fails syncronization. If i manually perfom a consisitancy check and the do a recovery point without syncronization, the recovery point will create. I am also protecting several other servers, which are two virtual server 2005 host machines, two SQL servers, and one standalone data server. All work, except for the large data server. The Specs of the servers are as follows:DPM Server - Dual Quad Xeon @ 1.6ghz, 8191mb Memory, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise X64, and 8TB Raid 5 dedicated to DPMData Server - Dual 3.00 Ghz Xeon, 4095mb Memory (PAE), Windows Server 2003 Standard, and 4.5TB Raid 5 (1.5TBused)I have an HP Storage Server, which replicates all data to this unit, using Double-Take Software. I have tried running backups without double take being installed, and i still have issues doing the recovery points. I reloaded windows, and tried again, with no luck. I do not have any services running other then double-take as the server only acts as a file server. There is no IIS/SQL/Exchange. I have also tried adjusting the change journal size for the protection source, and that proved to not make a difference. As a sidenote, i have never been able to load the DPM agent on the HP Storage Server, which is why im backing up my data through the "Backup Server". The agent install fails at 5%.Any input would be helpful. If you reqiire any additional information, feel free to contact me.
Thanks
