I installed Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 Data Mining Add-ins for Microsoft Office 2013 and it doesnt work. My excel version is 2013 for Home and small enterprises. I also installed SQL Server 2008 as localhost. Trying to data mining I always receive prompt Object reference not set to an instance of an object. What more after closing excel I have to add the data mining ribbon every time and also there is no title on the ribbon.

What can be wrong?

In the System Requirements section, we can see:

Supported editions of Office include the following editions of Office 2010 and equivalent editions of Office 2013:

Your version doesn't support this add-in, which should be the cause of the issue.

Hi,

Shoot in 10.

I was surprised that I could install the add-in and it doesnt work without a special note.

I've just installed as you advised (I have also second issue of excel) and it works.
