Hello All,We have three existing Exchange 2003 backend servers- Exchange56, Exchange57 and Exchange 58. Exchange56 was the first Exchange server installed and will be the last one we decommission. I'm looking to decommission Exchange58. We have an Exchange 2007 environment that has been up and running for a few months. I'm ready to start decommissioning our 2003 servers. I have moved all mailboxes that are still needed over to the 2007 environment. Exchange58 has public folders that are replicated from 56 & 57.There are a number of articles that discuss removing the first Exchange server (in our case Exchange56) but I have not been able to find an article that outlines the steps to simply decommission one Exchange server. Once I have moved the mailboxes from Exchange56 to our Exchange 2007 mailbox server do I just shut Exchange58 down? Do I need to uninstall Exchange 2003 from the server before shutting down? Is there an article that outlines what to do?Thanks in advance - Jon

Hi Jon,Just shutting down the server probably not be a good idea, as there are likey AD objects and attributes that refrence it and an uninstall will help determine that all hosted services have been migrated.
