Default OAB does not exist on Windows Server 2008 SCC Mail box servers
HiI created 2 node SCC mailbox cluster with Exchange 2007 SP1. I have installed the Update Rollup 5 for Exchange SP1. But there's no Default OAB. I checked the event logs but it is showing me no related errors obviously since the OAB does not exist at all. Any suggestions on how to make the server automatically create it?Regards

The OAB is managed through the CAS server role.

OK. But my question was that the Default OAB which should have been created automatically is not present.

As for as I remember you can only install the mailbox role on a SCC, therefore have you got another server hosting the CAS role?

I have 2 servers with HUB+CAS and a separate 2 node MB Cluster

On the CAS server, is the an OAB application directory showing in IIS management?

Under the Default Website node, there's a container for OAB.

I solved the issue by creating the Default OAB manually. I don't know why it did not generate automatically. Anyways, after creating the Default OAB manually, I did tests for both OWA and Outlook 2007. Seems to be working OK. Thanks for all the replies.Best regards
