I'd like to change the initial location the "Insert Hyperlink" dialogue box uses when it opens.
Issue: we don't send files intra-office via e-mail; instead send a link to the file via a hyperlink in an OL 2010 message. These files are almost always on a network share, drilled down a level or two (or three, or four, or five and yes, I know such depth creates its own issues).
System configuration:
- Windows 7 64-bit
- Office 2010 Profession; 32-bit
- Computer is attached to a domain; Server 2008 is DC with Server 2003 on 2nd server.
- IMAP is the e-mail protocol (we are NOT on an exchange server)
- NTFS Permissions allow access to files
Remember: Not trying to change default attachment location; I'm trying to change the default hyperlink location.
