I am  using Exchange 2013 CU7, I want to change the default theme. What is the location of default theme, so that i can give these files to one of my web developer he would change it and i will just copy those files.

In Exchange 2007 i remember I made the change to the below files logon.css,lgnbotl.gif,lgnbotm.gif,lgnbotr.gif,lgnexlogo.gif,lgnleft.gif,lgnright.gif,lgntopl.gif,lgntopm.gif,lgntopr.gif and pasted in the default theme(base folder)(C:\PF\Microsoft\Exchange\ClientAccess\owa\8.X\themes\)
Please do guide me how to achive in Exchange 2013

Basically the procedure is still the same as on Ex 2007, the files required you can find in your Exchange CAS servers sub folder installdir\Client Access\OWA\version\Owa2\resources\themes\base .

Please remember to take a backup of that files  before you start customizing.

I can see the 3 folders 15.0.1044.21, current, Current2 in the installdir\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\ClientAccess\Owa . How can i know my default theme.

Hi Risingflight,

typically your current OWA theme can be found in the folder current.

The other folders will get updated on every update to OWA, but there is a process UpdateCas.ps1 running on such updates that changed your current to the current version.

Please check the documentation provided above because you will need to know the details when customizing.

However, in exchange 2013 CU7, the path of default theme has changed to ClientAccess\Owa\prem\15.0.1044.25\resources\themes. Please check this for me.

1. I would first backup the current folder.

2. i will make changes to the current folder and then do i would do iisreset.

3. Incase if i face issues i will replace with the backup i took .

Will this workout? as i dont have a testing environment now so i want to be cautious
