Thanks that will redirect http://mail.domain.com/owa to https://mail.domain.com/owa for HTTP / HTTPS mistakes on that site only BUT what about

https://mail.domain.com to https://mail.domain.com/owa

or

http://mail.domain.com to https://mail.domain.com/owa

basically want to tell users to go to mail.domain.com to get mail...and get redirected to owa as they will forget to type /owa or https:\\

that part depends on which server it hits when you go to https://mail.domain.com  or http://mail.domain.com.

If it first hits your firewall, you can create a redirect from there.

Best recommendation is you configure this from where your domain is hosted. Many has built in support for this.
