Delegating control for a single server
Configuration:
Exchange 2003 Cluster (three active, one passive)
2 Front-End Servers
Scenario:
We have a department thatwe are going to install a "Basic" standalone Exchange 2003 Enterprise edition into the existing Org(not the cluster). We want the administrator in that department to be able to manage this server and only this server.
To my knowledge no built in Exchange 2003 roles can do this. Ex Full...too much rights, Ex Admin...rights to all servers, Ex ViewOnly...not enough.
Question:
Does anybody know the combination of AD and Exchange Delegation that would accomplish the user to only admin the standalone server in the existing Org?
