Delete email from new mailboxes in Exchange 2010
Greetings,
Some of our non-typical employees have never had company email, instead we set them up as a contact and referenced their personal email addresses (i.e. Yahoo, Hotmail etc.), we have decided
to stop that process and instead give everyone a company email address and allow the non-typical users to access their new email via Web-Mail.
Since this has been a long process to create and setup training for the users, most of these new company mailboxes have been sitting unused but they still gathering mass email's that have been
sent company wide.
We are going to give everyone their access information next week, but prior to this I would like to delete all unread email from these particular mailboxes before they start to use them.
Is there a way in Exchange 2010 to delete unread mail from specific mailboxes without actually getting into each mailbox manually?
Thanks in advance!

Yes use the new-mailboxexportrequest to export to pst file and use the ContentFilter {IsRead -eq $false}
New-mailboxexportrequest
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff607299
Filterable properties

To do in bulk for multiple email boxes use the import-csv user.csv | new-mailboxexportrequest....

As far my knowledge we can use keywords or Cleanup the whole mailbox , But not the unread emails alone

If the users hasn't started to use the mailboxes yet, why would you expect some messages to be read?
You can delete ALL Email items using in EMS (kind:calendar - for calendar items)
Example:
Search-Mailbox -identity USERNAME -searchquery kind:email -deletecontent
You must have been assiged to the "Mailbox Import Export Management" role to use the -deletecontent parameter
