Delete specific emails to an importable folder
Hello,
We want to clean Exchange 2010 server. I need to extract emails (with specified subjects) to a Windows folder and delete these extracted emails. Export-Mailbox seems to be answer; but it removes directly (with -deletecontent) or moves to a specific mailbox.
Is this the correct method?
Thank you,
Regards...TT

@Thank you @Arunkumar
The article you mentioned explains exporting mailbox. But I need to delete specific emails from all mailboxes. Deleted e-mails must be stored in a backup file such as PST. TT

Get-mailbox -database 'DB1' | export-mailbox –SubjectKeywords "Confidential" -TargetFolder "ConfidentialData" -TargetMailbox Administrator –DeleteContent
This is an excellent write up as well
