There probably isn't a solution, but I Have to try. Exhange 2003 enterprise Former admin create a policy to delete sent items. Users are having a fit and want them back. I found one backup made with ntbackup. I opened the backup with ontrack power controls and all I see is 4 log files. I think I am doomed. Any suggestions?Thanks

Thanks for the response.No they are not in the dumpster, first thing I checked.The items were deleted by a system policy.
