Delivery reports form external domain
HiI just wanted to know whether delivery receipts are by default disabled for any external domain ?Q1) When i enable delivery receipts and send a mail outside my domain it says its relayed but delivery notification is suppressed. Is it disabled by default?How can i enable it from my domainQ2) Does this rule also apply for accepted domains?

Hi Sayed,Its not disabled by default. What is disabled is the sending of delivery reports outside the exchange org. If the domain you sent an email to does not allow sending delivery reports back to the original sender the reports wont come back. However, relaying notifications are generated by your own servers so they can be recieved fine. To recieve a delivery notification the other side orgnization must configure it to allow sending them over the internet.
