Delpoying a second remote server
Hi All
I have always worked in small businesses with 1 server running all exchange tasks. We have just bought a 2nd office and the owners would like an exchange server installed at the second site for the users there (currently exchange 2010)
How easy would it be to setup a 2nd server there with all the mails for that site going to the new server rather than being on the main server.
Thanks
Glenn

Hi
Maybe you need consult. It is hard to answer it on forum.
1. Create three roles(mailbox,cas,hub) on 2rd server. (server B)
2. Create (office B) user account on this mailbox server.
3. Set-MailboxDatabase <Mailbox Database Name> -RpcClientAccessServer <ClientAccessServer>
Assign local cas server to these mailbox
4. Set-MailboxServer -Identity Server1 -SubmissionServerOverrideList HubServer01
Assign local hub server to this mailbox server Terence Yu
