Deploy standardized font for MS Office 2010

Hello everybody,

I'm currently facing an issue with my "Branding" policy. I found how to set pictures and background but I cannot enforce a default font for MS Office in general and more specifically Outlook.
Registry is not working.

For information, it's working for Word with the "modified "Normal.dotm" copy. For Outlook and the "NormalEmail.dotm" it's different. I modified the "Normal" style but it's not using the style by default but the font set in "Stationary and Signature" option.

Someone can maybe help?

Thanks in advance.

Registry is not working.

What registry key did you use? For Outlook, when we change the font in "Stationary and Fonts" option, it will write the settings in the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\MailSettings

If you want to change the default font in Outlook for all user, you will need to change the Fonts settings in "Stationary and Fonts" option first. When the changes have been written to the MailSettings registry key, export the MailSettings registry key to a .reg file and then deploy the .reg file to all clients through Group Policy.

Hello Steve,

I don't know why, but no registry value are written in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\MailSettings.

I'm trying to find a solution between the theme in Outlook and the style, but I found no way to apply them by default.

Thank you,

Chris
