Determine if a mobile device is using encryption or not

Here is our situation:

We have Exchange 2013.  Our people use Outlook on their PCs and use the built in mail app on their iphones and ipads.  Our server is currently configured with the default setting that allows mobile devices to access active sync without using encryption.  For the most part, our mobile devices are using encryption (we are using a utility to install a certificate on these phones to enable encryption).

However, a few of our devices are not using encryption.  I need a way to determine which devices are not using encryption without simply changing the mobile device policy to cut off anyone that is not using encryption.  Is this information recorded in the logs anywhere?

don't you have SSL configured on your SSL?

Why do you have to manually install the cert?

are there any 3rd party application you are talking about encryption or Exchange ActiveSync on SSL?
