Disable exporting Outlook 2003 - 2013
I'm looking to restrict our users the ability to export anything from their Outlook. I did look at the ADMX file for group policy, however the settings seems to also restrict the import / open data file function which I do not want to do. Is
there any way of going about just restricting export access?

I'm pretty sure you can disabled import/export in GPO with the office admx template.

Hi,
As far as I know, its not possible to just restrict the export feature in Outlook, but you might get a different answer in the
Outlook Forum. We can't make anything about PST-files use on the Exchange Server Side.
Personally, I can't see a good reason for users to use PST-Files and be able to import messages from another messaging system into the Corporate Mailbox either.Martina Miskovic

Hello,
As far as I know, there isn't any way can restrict pst file export from the server side.
The only way i know is to use ADMX file with group policy, but you can follow Martina's suggestion to ask in Outlook forum, maybe somebody there can use other way.
If you cannot import the pst file after you use ADMX, you can follow this way as a workaround (to move emails from pst file to your mailbox):
Use "Open Outlook Data File" to add the pst file, then manually move the emails from pst file to your mailbox.
