Disabling Message Tracking
Hello All. I may be posting this in the wrong place, so if I am, please let me know where to move it.
I have been asked to disable the ability for our users to enable Message Tracking by default within their outlook. They would still be able to do this per-message, just not
as a default value for all messages. I have already deployed some other GPOs for Outlook, so I have the Outlook 2007 ADM file installed. In looking through the default GPO objects, I do not see one to turn Message Tracking off (maybe I missed
it). Would anybody be able to tell me if this is possible, and if so, where to find the GPO setting?

No, this is not an Outlook feature but an Exchange Feature. So if you disable Message Tracking on Exchange then this setting effects all Mailboxes that exists on the specified Exchange Server.

Would you be able to point me in the direction of how this is done on the exchange server?

Hi,
Based on your description, I understand that you would like to disable the ability of message tracking for end user in Outlook, but they still track message per-message, am I right? If so, I am afraid
there is no way to do so from Exchange server side based on my experience.
Best regards,
