Disabling Recoverable Items Deletion Folder from the user
Hi,
I want to restrict a user from deleting items from Recoverable Items Deletions or have the folder invisible to the user for the purpose of preservation. What is the possible solution to achieve this?
Is there any RBAC role available for this?
Thanks, Nandita

Enable Single Item Recovery or In Place or Litigation Hold, more on that here

Well the only other option I can think of is to use a group policy
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18044055 to remove the option from Outlook but that means they cannot do self recovery of accidental recovered items either so that would then fall to you to do recoveries for them, although I suppose you
could then use our DigiScope product to do recoveries as an administrator.
Lucid8's DigiScope http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp has the ability to open any offline Exchange Database so that you can Browse, Search, Export Mailboxes, Folders and Items to PST &
MSG or Recover/Import/Migrate data directly from any Offline Exchange database to ANY Production Exchange server, even cross version i.e. 2003 --> 2007 --> 2010 etc.

Honestly no idea, you would have to contact MS to find out if they would allow such a thing. My gut says os, but hey you never know until you ask.Troy Werelius
