We are running Exchange 2010 sp ru 3v3 and host Exchange for multiple companies in a single AD forest/domain. Our account creation standards include the convention of using “Last Name, First Name” for the display name. One our clients is willing to have names displayed in this "Last Name", "First Name" format in the Global Address List, but prefers that messages from their users be displayed in their mail clients in the “First name” “Last Name” format instead. Is there a way to accomplish that? Please don't flame me, as I am being directed to ask this question. Thanks.

Ripu, Thanks for the suggestion, but it's not quite what the customer is looking for. They are okay with having the Global Address list show Last, First, but want their internal mail to show First Last when they view messages in their clients. From what I've read simple display name is only useful for having the sender appear differently when sent internally vs. external mail. In this case, they want the Gobal address entry appear one way and messages sent from that user appear differently. I don't think that's possible, but am looking for a defintive answer. Thanks. Alan
