HelloA mail universal enabled security group is not allowing only users to add/remove members from it.It is only happening with one user and he is the manager.We also gave him full rights from AD on this group and still it is not working, any ideas?I added mine and it worked perfectly fine. How is he attempting to modify the membership? Through AD or through Outlook?

Through Outlook(2003)created new profile and also removed/added him as a manager but for no avail.

How many AD domains do you have in the forest? Is the DL in the same AD domain as the Exchange Servers and the user?

Yes they are in the same domain, and there is only one domain..........Exhcnage and DC lies in one domain only

I did not used the exchange cmdlet but under AD i gave user full rights read/write on all property but yet no luck.should try the CMDLET?

Thanks davivd, anyways i found out the culprit. It was outlook which was creating problems, re-installed it and it started allowing modifications...Still wondering why .....
