Distribution Group Permissions in Exchange 2007
I have Exchange 2007 running in an environment with many child domains. I wish to setup Distribution lists for each child domain but not allow other child domains to see any other list other than their own. For example, 'Company1' has a distribution list
of 'Staff1' one, but I don't want the child domain company 'Company2' to be able to see that Distribution list in the Global Address book. Can anyone help at all? Thank you very much.

1. IF u enable HideFromExchangeAddressLists then this group will not be listed in any GAL or AL.
2. For you scenario u r talking about the DL not being shonw in GAL, which i think can only be achieved by different GALs for each of the domain with only domain users having permissions on domain gal.

Thanks very much for that, my next question then is how do I create Global address lists for each individual child domains? The child domains don't have their own Exchange 2007 server but have their own 'recipient scope' on a central Exchange server(s) 2007.
Thank you very much so far. BWilks
