Distribution Groups in GAL
The trick in Exchange 2003 to force distribution groups to be listed at the top of the GAL was to add a <space> in front of the display name. However, Exchange 2007 apparently doesn't like leading or trailing white space. What is the trick to force Distribution Groups to appear at the top of the Global Address List in Exchange 2007? This seems like it should be easy...

Leave a space before the display name of the DL.Also have a look into this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931734http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/34163237/aboutus.aspxRaj

Thanks for your reply Raj, but it was of no help what-so-ever. I'm not sure if you even read my original post.

How about using an underscore (_) character instead of a leading space? Tony

Thanks Tony, that worked. I had already tried a dash "-" but that didn't work. The underscore does work. Seems like there should be a better way, but at any rate, that did work. Thanks again!!Roger
