Distribution List Issue
I have created a distribution list and added a contact AND a regular exchange customer. When an email is sent to the distribution list the regular exchange address receives the email but NOT the contact. If you expand the distribution list and send
it individually to the contact AND the exchange customer BOTH the contact and the exchange customer receive the email. The contacts email address is a phone number @vzemag.biz.
I would say my dist list is set up wrong but why would the regular exchange address receive the message when sent to the dist list? If my contact was set up incorrectly why would the customer receive their message on their phone when I send it with the dist
list expanded.
New at this and need some advise. Thanks

Where did you create ths DL? In Outlook or in the AD?
If the DL is in the AD then you should be able to use message tracking
to see what happened.
