Document Libraries in WSS/MOSS
First a bit of background ~ my company currently has a DFS structured environment where we use AD/GPO to control our internal file system development and/or manipulation. We have decided to use Microsofts WSS solution for our company web, and truly like the functionality. Now with that said we are attempting to integrate our existing file system into SharePoint. On first glace it appears that this is possible (from reading some of the documentation on WSS provide by Microsoft) but we have yet to find our way in this. My questions are:
1.Can you somehow integrate a pre-existing DFS environment into SharePoints Document Libraries without having to upload all the items into it?
a. <!--[endif]-->If so HOW?
2.Can you point the default Document Libraries save to location to a different drive on the local host (WSS is installed on the root of C: which is not a very large drive and we would like to move it to one of our raid 50s for redundancy and space requirements)?
a. <!--[endif]-->If so HOW?
Any help would be appreciated.

1. No, however quest makes a file share to sharepoint migration tool, but i haven't played with it at all.
2. Document libraries save into the sql database, so it'll actually save to wherever SQL is running.
