We have Exchange 2003 Enterprise with SP2. I like to create the folder with specific permission under Public Folder of Exchange and to place the document such as MS Word, Excel under the specific folder. Reading and accessing the documents are fine with MS Outlook 2007. However, when I tried to open with OWA for Exchange 2003, it didnt work as I expected. I cant view the document and even the saving document doesnt work correctly with OWA. For instance, Iplaced "aaa.xls" with MS Outlook 2007but it saved as aaa.zip when I saved via OWA again. Hi,Could you please confirm the xls file will be saved as zip file, or xlsx(excel 2007) file?Because I found you are using Outlook 2007. Hi, Thanks for your advice. Please note that I have Office 2007 with my computer. Id confirm that the excel file I saved is not xls and it was xlsx. In fact, users are not using Public Folder right now and it is just testing state. Accessing Public Folder through OWA is needed as we have some roaming users. I have followed the steps in this article http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/9f09bd87-482e-422b-b0f9-f6a02dd121a6. However, I am still having the error message to open office 2007 application, like aaa.docx via OWA. The error is HTTP 403 Forbidden. Please note that I got the same error for other extensions such as .txt, .doc and .pfd which are fine to view with MS Outlook 2007. Could you please suggest on that? Thanks. Kyi

Hi, After reading this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834743, some of the problem has been solved out. However, when I opened the file via OWA, it was opened as Read Only, not editable. And, it is not possible to drag and drop the file to Public Folder via OWA. Is it normal? Thanks. Kyi
