Drag and drop - public folders
hi, i wonder if someone could give me some tips on this.left click - drag and drop from mailbox to public folder = move mail.left click - drag and drop from public folder to mailbox = copy mail.left click drag and drop from PF to PF = copy mail.I forsee this being confusing for my users. while im aware that i can right click and "move to folder" my users and very much used to left clicking and drag and drop to a folder. Im also aware that i can right click drag and drop to get the option to move OR copy.My users have been using ThunderBird for a few years now and are pretty stuck in their ways of moving mail around, and we need to do this constantly in our organisation. My worry is that even with showing them how to do this in Outlook they will forget and end up making copies of mail items and such all over the folder tree. How can i make it possible so that left click - drag n drop always moves mail and not copies it? from any location to any location? That or disable the left click drag and drop completely so that they have to right click and use the context menu or drag using the right button, that way mail should get moved around properly....Ive searched all over the web for a proper answer to this but cant find one, ive found many people with the same issue, but no actual answers unfortunately! Thanks for any help,

if not a built in solution, a 3rd party app would be fine....

Per my test in the lab, you can use the SHIFT to keep move instead of copy
When SHIFT is combined with Left click/Drag & Drop, the items will always be moved

Yes, I know of that one too - it works nicely infact. But my users will end up dragging and dropping by accident and making duplicate mails all over the public folders. It wouldn't be bad having to hold shift if I could disable the default drag and drop = copy (in most cases)
Thing is I can't find a way around this, short of using thunderbird - and I'd rather eat week old fish than do that ;)
