Driver problem deploying printers via Group Policy
I'm trying to roll out some printers using GP and whilst they all install in the users' profiles, my Canon iR C3200 doesn't work correctly. Basically, it is listed but it does not seem to have installed the driver to the local machine - if I try to bring up the Properties tab I get a message stating:"The Canon iR C3200 PCL5c printer driver is not installed on this computer. Some printer properties will not be accessible unless you install the printer driver. Do you want to install the driver now?"It then gives me the Add Printer Driver Wizard inviting me to provide mfr / model / driver to install; not much use for my users.Anyone any ideas why this would be?thanks Calum

Hello Calum, It seems the current issue is a Printer issue. I suggest writing a post on the Vista printing forums, for your convenience, I have included the link below. http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=717&SiteID=17 If you installed Windows XP, you can refer the following link for help. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups.mspx I hope your issue will be fixed soon. Thanks, Elvis
