Duplicate Exchange Objects in AD
Do to a previous unsucessful installation of Exchange which was manually removed from AD, although not completely we now have two of every object within the Exchange OU that is setup during Exchange installation. I now have groups called Exchange Trusted
Subsyetm and Exchange Trusted Subsyetm1 to use an example.
I want to eliminate the duplicates but don't know if their is a standard or "better" procedure than manually removing the duplicates myself. If there isn't I will go ahead and remove the duplicates but which should I remove the original objects or the one
with a 1 appened to the name. I don't feel that it should matter since they are groups but I fear a SID conflict.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
The safe way is delete all the exchange Group, then run setup /PrepareAD
to recreate the new groups.
