Duplicate entries on Server, but not in Entourage
I have a user who uses Entourage as a client and who has an assistant who uses Outlook 2003. Somehow several weeks ago, all of the Entourage user's calendar items duplicated on the server, but not on the Entourage client. That is, if you view this user's calendar from her Entourage client, there are no duplicates, but if you view that same calendar from OWA, or Outlook 2003, all the items are duplicated. I have no idea how to resolve this except to have the assistant manually remove the duplicate entries. Ideas?

If I didn't want the assistant to have to manually remove teh duplicate entries, I would have the Entourage user delete one entry from the Entourage client. My guess is that it would delete one of the two entries on the server. If that is the case, have the Entourage user delete all of the calendar entries from Entourage. Then delete the Entourage profile and recreate it. Joseph Durnal

Are those the only options? Both are very labor intensive for the users. Is there some known reason why this happened? We'd like to avoid it in the future.

That is all I could think of. I've always foundsupporting Entourage clients to be more labor intensive than Outlook clients. I can't say for sure why this would happen. You could go back to IIS logs and see what the Entourage client was doing, but that would depend on your level of logging on the http service that the Entourage client is using. Joseph Durnal
