E-Mail Addresses tab missing for user
Hi all, By default, I have ended up trying to determine what to do about this situation. I am not an Exchange expert, but I can find my around with a little pointing in the right direction. We have just shifted over to a new server, with SBS 2003 installed, and Exchange SP1 (not done by me, but a profession IT company). There isone user that was created, that for some reason, when viewed in Active Directory or Server Management, and the properties are viewed, that does NOT show a tab for E-Mail Addresses. This user needs to have this tab as there are several email addresses he needs. I have not been able to find anywhere to add this facility in, nor can I see anywhere where it has anything not selected that should be preventing this facility. One presumes I could delete the account and recreate so that this tab would then exist, but since there seems to be considerable email in the account, I am hesitant to do this without some kind of backup of this individual mailbox (this user is a laptop user, not always in the office). My understanding (perhaps shaky) is that backups of Exchange mailboxes are ALL mailboxes, not just a single one (we do a nightly tape backup including Exchange mailboxes, but I didn't think you could just restore a single mailbox via this method without corrupting the Exchange database?). Achiving could be done, but not until the laptop is back in the office.? Does anyone have any ideas on what I should be looking for to fix the originalsituation, or have a pointer to some instructions on what to do here? All help gratefully received. TIA, Wendy

Hi, Rightclck the user (in active directory users and computers), select exchange tasks and create mailbox. After this you have to wait a copule of minutes and the email tab should be there. Leif
