E-mail Alias setup consideration?
Assuming I am user self@domain.com and I would like to also recieve e-mails addressed to
other@domain.com (however, not create an actual mailbox for user "other") my steps thus far have been opening my AD account ("self") and adding to SMTP the
other@domain.com e-mail address.
My problem with this is when e-mail is recieved, you cannot tell (at least not using Outlook) which e-mail address the message was originally sent to. Also, it seems to change mail sent to
other@domain.com to instead say
self@domain.com, altering the e-mail message itself.
I would like to recieve a 2nd address into my mailbox, but retain it's original destination address (or have some way to distinguish).
Can you please advise me on how I'm really wanting to set this up?

That was indeed my exact question. That thread outlines my limitations well, too. Not sure how I missed it.
Thanks for your assistance, Sukh828!
