E2K3, OWA calendar not showing appointment but Outlook does ...
I have an Exchange 2003 installation with 4 message stores, 3 of the stores are working fine but the fourth store, if a user logs in via OWA, they can see no appointments (the day shows bold if there is an appointment), and if they choose the month view, the screen is compelteely blank - no days, dates, anything. If the same users logs in via Outlook, all calendar entries are there and correct. If I move the user to a differnt store, they work correctly (with over 1000 users in this store I really do not want to move every users if I can avoid it). Since the other 3 message stores appear to be working correctly, I do not think this is a patch issue, but rather that something has changed the permissions. There are 3 applications that have hooks into Exchange, Cisco Unity, Blackberry Enterprise Server, and Symantec Backup Exec. None of these applications have recently been updated or upgraded. Any guidance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Kevin

I've never heard of such a thing. You might consider creating a new mailbox store and moving everyone to it, then deleting the one you think is faulty. Hi, First, I would like to confirm the following questions: 1. Does the symptom occur on certain user or each user on fourth store? 2. Since the symptom disappears after moving Mailbox to another Store, does the issue reoccur after moving back to Store 4? 3. Can the Week View or Day View be opened normally via OWA? Regarding to the issue, it can occur if certain user’s mailbox is corrupted or corrupted Store. Usually, if certain user’s mailbox is corrupted, Exchange will scan the mailbox if it is moved between two stores and the corrupted information will be recovered automatically. If the issue only occurs on certain Mailbox, you can just ignore it. However, if each user has the same symptom, I suggest you use the Isinteg utility to check the consistent of the problematic store. For more information about Isinteg utility, please refer to the following article: Description of the Isinteg utility If the issue persists, please open the Event Viewer and check whether there is any application error about Exchange. Also, please capture the blank Month web page window and upload it to Skydrive (www.skydrive.live.com) for research.
