Hi,
Below is the scenario I need help for.
I have recently upgraded my exchange server 2010 from SP2 to SP RU9.
In the test environment where I had no EMC installed, I installed it using the download of Exchange 2010 SP3.
Installed ran into issue at the end (I don't remember the exact error, probably authorization failure). I then tried to uninstall it but no luck it keeps asking me to select one of the server role which does not exist on the remote server and are also greyed
out. Also, I cannot uninstall it from the control panel.
When I try to install, it recognizes that EMC is already installed. Since all the folder and icon's are created I tried accessing the EMC it throwed an error "Authorization Failed", cannot connect using connectremote.ps1. After sometime the error
change to "The WWW publishing service (W3SVC) isn't running on any exchange server in the site". But if I add a new forest I can access the server via EMC.
In my development and production I get the error "The WWW publishing service (W3SVC) isn't running on any exchange server in the site". But when I try to add a new forest it give compatibility error which is true. version on client side and server is different.
Need your help in the above two problem areas (how to solve the issue in test & how to upgrade the EMC in development & production)
Note: EMS is working good and has no problems
Thanks in Advance,
Ankush Shah
