EXCDO Event ID 8208
Server 2003 SP2
Exchange 2003 SP2
Issue is with OWA, when users access the public folder calendar there is nothing in the view, I can search and find items however. The error log is this: Source:EXCDO Event ID: 8208
"Calendaring agent failed with error code 0x8007000e while expanding recurring appointments."
I have search but have been unable to find anything that is specific to this. Does Exchange 2003 have a recurring item limit?

I wish I could tell you we figured it out, but after trying various things, including adding RAM to exchange server and archiving old calendare items it still doesn't work. It just appears to be a problem with too many re-curring calendar items and there is apparently no work around that we have found, sorry. If you figure it out please let me know, thanks

we're plagued by these as well off and on... finding some to do with inappropriately touched appointments getting munged by iPhone; particularly recurring. Has to do with MSExchangeSA and the translation from MAPI to MIME type and back... causes appt to disappear from non-mapi clients.still show fine in OL(any version) and BlackBerry Enterprise Server... but iPhone and OWA don't display.Go into appt in OL and tamper with the recurrances 'end date' - maybe lower the number of occurances and make sure there is an end time... fixes a lot of them (although that doesn't permanently solve 'why',maybe a trail of bread crumbs). Not sure if there's a magic bullet here because there's a lot of moving parts in between and a multitude of different things that could go wrong end to end, but the MSExchangeSA reg keys can help, double check your Exchange servers' patch levels, and check your excdo dll version. Also, check to see if you're suffering any EXCDO 8217 errors... even if you're not, search that error on the all knowing Google (sorry Bing, but...) sometime when you have an hour or so to read,c
