EXCHANGE 2007 OWA and Sharepoint Services
Hi All
I've recently installed the Exchange Server 2007 forevaluation. Iran into issues regarding "Public Folders". In the past I've setup public folders to distrubute a company wide vendor contactlist. After doing some research it seems the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007OWAfeature doesn't support Public Folders. Microsoftrecommends that Sharepoint Service is the alternativeto public folders. So I installed Sharepoint Services V3 . The question Ireallyneed addressed is:
Is there a way toaccess Sharepoint components (ie: Contacts and/or Calendars) withinMicrosoft Exchange Server 2007 OWA? If so could you please direct me to where I can access the information I need toenable thisfeature within OWA?Ifnot doyou know of another way I could accomplish this task ofdistributing this contact list to allOWA users.
I've seached the Internet to the end and I've come up empty, soany help on this matter would be appreciated.

I have the same problem except we use Public folders for scheduling vacations since we are all over the country. I have figured out the ability to link to local file shares but nothing to do with Contacts or Calendar. I fi find something i will let you know.

Thanks Brett
I'll do the same! After some research I believe we have to look at programming
something with visual studio web parts to get this functionality.

It seems like an interesting issue but I am trying to do something opposite to that. I have exchange 2007 and I have public folders there. I want to show the contacts in SharePoint services V3 exactly the same way as it appears in Outlook. I tried the OWA webpart but it shows the whole OWA interface.Any help is appreciated
