EX 2007 / LH 6001 April
I'm running a little test lab at home with LH 6001 April and would like to install EX 2007 SP1. Just wondering if anyone has successfully installed this yet?
Thanks in advance

Ex2007 RTM will not work on Longhorn Server. It is blocked. Here's an excerpt from a mail sent to some of the partners:
"If youve already downloaded Longhorn Beta 3, you may be curious to kick the tires with Exchange installed. The current SP1 Beta build that you have can be used for limited lab testing on Longhorn. There are some known issues with this build when running on Longhorn, but basic functionality should work. "
However I don't know which build the author was referring to, nor do I know which SP1 build you have. If it's theBeta one from March, I'm pretty sure (but not 100% sure)that we didn't have much Longhorn Server support in there. I know we didn't have much support from the clustering team (HA/SCC/CCR), I'm just not sure about the rest of Exchange.

This is the TEXT from another thread I started on Google groups. Can anyone help? I'm fairly close at this point. Please bear with me as I'm fairly inexperienced with Exchange. I've just installed Exchange 2007 on a new install of Longhorn Server Beta3. It seemed to install fairly clean. I've create a couple of mailboxes for two domain admin users and am able to email between the two locally. The problem is I'm unable to email to the internet, example - x...@yahoo.com, or receive any email from the outside. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciate on where to start. Thanks for the tip. I'm now able to telnet to port 25 with "telnet mail.myserver.com 25". I'm just wonder is this has something to do with relaying from "s...@myserver.com" to "s...@myserver.local". Or/and do I need and internal relay domain. Again, any suggestions would be helpfull.
