Edge Server Telnet?
Hello everyone Itelnet in to my edge server on port 25 and try to send mail using ehlo commands,(for testing purposes)when i reach the end it displays the message that message has been queued for delivery. but the message does not reaches the intendes recipient. Can any one please help. Thanks.

Have you created sendconnectors on Edge server? Edge has antispam functions that maybe stop your mail from being delivered.Check the agent log for info. Its in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\Logs\AgentLog dorectory

i checked the folder for the logfile i got tht following log but the message did not get delivered to my inbox 2007-11-05T06:43:33.656Z,08C9E9F44588E4BB,EdgeserverIPand port:25,DestinationIp and port:38461,destination Ip,<9d72d4c1-0f92-4975-864b-e3599ad6d86d>,senderaddr@examplecompany.com,senderaddr@examplecompany.com;,I@mycompany.com,1,Content Filter Agent,OnEndOfData,AcceptMessage,,SCL,5 the information in red is changed due to the company security policy. i do have a mailbox setup for the spam storage but i can see no email there aswell.

your mail got a SCL value of 5, maybe it was routedto your junk email folder instead of your inbox.

I did not checked the logs using the message tracking utility i checked the logs manually in the text file.
