We renew our Edge subscription every year. Is there a way to lengthen the life of the certificate(make it 2 yrs. or something)?

Depending on your Exchange version and SP level, you may find they are 5 years, but you cannot speficy a duration with the New-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet. You can however get various durations with 3rd party (including AD-CS) CAs. Mike Crowley Check out My Blog!

It’s based on certificate. If this is a self-signed certificate in Exchange server, the duration is only 1 year. Thanks.
