Hai,Did you look to see what the NTFS permissions are on the indicated file C:\WINDOWS\security\msscw\ConfigureFiles\Services. inf or for creating the file within indicated directory? Also check that the configuration for DNS support is correct. Also, at a cmd prompt try running the netdiag and dcdiag utilities to see what they have to say.regards from www.windowsadmi.infoManuPhilip

Hi, A lot of possibility causes of this issue could be the Anti-virus application. So Id like to double check the anti-virus application. 1. What is your AV application? 2. What is the version of this AV application? Also please try to disable your firewall and then check the issue again. Please verify if you have full access control on C:\ WINDOWS\security\msscw\ConfigureFilesBesides, we also can check log files from %systemdir%\security\msscw. Moreover, I recommend you to follow steps in article below to create SCW policy for Exchange. How to Create a New Exchange Server Role SCW Policy http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998855.aspx Services and Port Executables Enabled by the Exchange 2007 SCW Registration Files http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb397223.aspx Securing Exchange 2007 Edge Transport Servers http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Securing-Exchange-2007-Edge-Transport-Servers.html Regards, Xiu
