IinstalledEdge Transport Server for DR. Iinstalled SCW, registered the SCW extension. I have also created custom security policy. when I am running the SCW, it's giving me the following error message.The security Configuration Wizard can't continue because the Security policy couldn't applied to the selected server.Problem: Unspecified error.12/4/2009 8:53:48 AM 0 Configuration start 12/4/2009 8:53:57 AM 0x80070005 Error configuring C:\ WINDOWS\security\msscw\ConfigureFiles\Services.inf Access is denied. 12/4/2009 8:53:57 AM 0 Configuration done 12/4/2009 8:53:57 AM 0x80070005 Cannot complete extension processing: Microsoft.OS.Services Access is denied. Though I am the local admin and I have also disabled the Antivirus. Hai,Did you look to see what the NTFS permissions are on the indicated file C:\WINDOWS\security\msscw\ConfigureFiles\Services. inf or for creating the file within indicated directory?Also check that the configuration for DNS support is correct. Hi, A lot of possibility causes of this issue could be the Anti-virus application. So Id like to double check the anti-virus application. 1. What is your AV application? 2. What is the version of this AV application? Also please try to disable your firewall and then check the issue again. Please verify if you have full access control on C:\ WINDOWS\security\msscw\ConfigureFilesBesides, we also can check log files from %systemdir%\security\msscw.
