Edge tranport not sync Hub transport
Hi all
We are currently using Exchange 2007 sp1 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. My system consist : AD, 2 mailbox,2 HUB ( NLB),Edge.
The system
is
having problems
sync between
edge and
hub. It have error " Microsoft Exchange couldn't connect to EDGE01.abc.com by using credentials cn=ESRA.EDGE01.CASHUB01.0,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,CN={4E07DA5F-967A-427C-9FB3-40E58A87513B}. The password hash is RgdJ+wNmWsCYaAbfOGG4lfaykWho/jVeUHnGjxWdfuc=.
An expired replication account is the cause. Resubscribe the Edge Transport server by running the New-EdgeSubscription command on both Edge Transport server EDGE01.abc.com and this server again. You do not have to run the Remove-EdgeSubscription command."
"The Microsoft Exchange EdgeSync service could not confirm the credential for replication account cn=ESRA.EDGE01.CASHUB01.1,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,CN={4E07DA5F-967A-427C-9FB3-40E58A87513B}
for the subscribed server EDGE01.abc.com. The start date is 1/20/2011 10:20:25 PM. The password hash is HcUKac9jSmnO/gfi2pmXZpZ6XcZjO+iwKkBodFdmdqk=. Verify that the Microsoft Exchange Credential Service is running properly on the subscribed server. "
After.
I've
done
the following to fix
http://blog.meigh.eu/2010/06/04/how-to-resubscribe-your-exchange-2007-edgetransport-server.aspx
After
this edge
and the hub
can be synchronized
with each other
. But
a few days after
the issue appeared
the same.
Please help me

Hi,
This Error indicates that the set of replication credentials that must be used next is not valid. EdgeSync performs this check to verify that it can log on with the new credentials 15 days before the Edge Transport server will switch to the new credentials.
To resolve, do one or more of the following:
Ensure that Microsoft Exchange Credential Service (EdgeCredentialSvc) is running on the target Edge Transport server.
Ensure that the replication account credentials are correctly propagated to the ADAM instance on an Edge Transport server. To do this, run the Exchange Management Shell cmdlet
Start-EdgeSynchronization. This cmdlet forces EdgeSync to replicate the replication account data to the target Edge Transport servers.

Try rescubsribing the Edge server onto the Hub. Look at this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd897094.aspx

Hi orchid_small,
Any updates on your issue?
"using Exchange 2007 sp1 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise"
You should install Exchange 2007 SP3 on the 2008 R2 server. And please make sure the same level of service packs and rollups are installed on all Exchange servers.
Please run the EXBPA to do a system check.
Is there any error event in the Event Viewer. Please run the Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl and post the results here. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
