Hi,Is there a way to edit the default NDRs in Exchange Server 2003? We would like to edit the message people get when they send a email that is bigger than size we set.Thanks.

Hi Artur,It is not possible/supported to edit default NDRs in Exchange 2003 as per RFC standard, please review below similar thread...http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/exchangesvrsecuremessaging/thread/39ed92f0-02dc-4baf-b790-7ef5d54c04cf/

Yes, it could not be customized and the workaround is not supported. Ifind a method for your reference:NOTE: please backup all needed data and note it's not a supportedscenario.
The content of the NDR messages cannot be customized using the Exchange System Manager and is hardcoded into an Exchange server DLL called: MDBSZ.DLL. We need to use Resource Localization Toolset to modify the message:
You can download Resource Localization Toolset from the following site:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/rltools.exe
1) Make a backup of mdbsz.dll
2) Launch rlquiked and open mdbsz.dll
3) Find the line of text you want to modify, and double-click it.
4) Make your change, and save the change to the file.
Note: We seems only to be able to change the red partition message but not the Requested action not taken: mailbox not available message
You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator.
