Email Password Chane
is there a way to send a notification to the users to change their email password before it expires. Users do get the notification when on OWA but they don't in Outlook Anywhere. I'm using Exchange 2007 Ent SP2 on Windows Server 2008 SP1.

Hi, There is no native way of doing this in Exchange, so either you have to script your way out of it or find a thirdpart product that can do it for you. An idea for a script is to run through all users on a dc and then create a mail if the expire is less than x number of days. /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

I would start by editing following script http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?id=323750. This script will get you two dates: last password modification date password expiration date Editing mentioned script I would obtain user's primary e-mail address and send notification e-mail to user. ---------- Ondrej Zilinec - Cievo ----------

The script i was linking to has nothing to do with vista really.... at least i haven't seen any AD and OU structure in vista so far :) If you look at the last page a powershell MVP created a script that does it all, and she has made a link for it. /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

Good Day, Do you have a link\reference to any document to verify this from Microsoft. Just in case the client asks for such. Thanks in advance Sunil
