Email Request for Read Receipt is giving false notification that "Your email was deleted without being read"

Hi,

After migration to Exchange 2013 my users started to receive a message for Read Receipt is giving false notification that "Your email was deleted without being read" and thats is not true. This appends in all messages sended to internal mailboxes.

On excahnge 2010 there was a KB that solved the problema but in 2013 CU1 does not solve.

Can someone help?

Hi

Did that happen to all users or just particular user

If for particular user, have a try to disable read receipt for sender.

If for all users, try to create transport rules to discard the Disposition-Notification-To  and Return-Receipt-To headers from the emails received from internet.

Cheers

Hi,

Tanks for the answer,

This is happening to all users not only a particular one.

I think this happend when the recieved email passes from the server database to a personal folder on the computer.

I got 1  question:

what you sugest will disable all notifications not only the one i reported, right?

Cheers
