Hello,I have changed some email addresses policy but the SMTP addresses do not get remvoved. I did update-emailaddresspolicy but it did not change anything. Do I misse something? Shall I run/do something else to have the email @ policy applied correctly? Thanks, Graig

Email addresses arent removed when you modify the email address policy. If you want to remove proxy addresses in bulk, use something like admodify: ADModify http://www.codeplex.com/admodify Using ADModify - A real world example http://exchangeis.com/blogs/exchangeis/archive/2005/07/01/using-admodify-a-real-world-example.aspxhttp://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/01/05/432086.aspxNo proxy addresses are removed from the recipient, but if the new policy defines a new primary email address (reply address), then the old primary address is demoted to a secondary email address so that the new primary can be set

Hi, Please try to run get-emailaddresspolicy |fl and then post here. I'd like to know if it is the default email policy. More information to share with you: Address List and EAP filter upgrades with Exchange Server 2007 http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/01/11/432158.aspx Regards, Xiu
