Email backup optimisation

Hello

I have a company laptop using Outlook.
There are 2 folders "email backup optimisation" that takes a lot of space.
Is there a way to "clean" them?

Thank you!

Hi,

First I need to know how the folders were created. Are the two folders in Outlook? Or under a path in Windows Explorer?

If they are in Outlook, I think they are set up for backup purpose, don't take the risk of losing important data. If they are normal Outlook Inbox subfolders, consider to use an AutoArchive to keep them in a .pst file:

If they are under a path in Windows Explorer, such as C:\ProgramData\Email Backup Optimization, what items are in them? If there are .ost or .pst files, please also consider to archive them into a separate .pst file. If you think the .pst file still takes a lot of space in your hard disk, please move it to other secure devices.
