Email going to wrong recepient!
I'm running SBS 2008 & have an issue with emails going to wrong recepient. User A left the company & emails were forwarded to user B. User A comes back to company, forwarding is shut off. User A get most emails with no problem, except internally.
If I forward a message to User A, it goes to User B instead. I have checked all the places I know & can find no reason for this to be happening. Message tracking shows it as going to User B.
What am I missing?

How did you setup forwarding?
With kind regards

In Mailbox Properties, I believe.
What's weird is that this isn't consistent from user to user. Most users can forward to User A with no problem. One particular user, when he picks user A's name in 'To' field gets a long display like;
/O=MYDOMAIN/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=USERA
I figure somewhere that is translating, or is an alias to user B. I tried digging for it using adsiedit, but had no luck...
Why is my type displaying in different sizes here?

Does the user that's having the problem have an old entry for this user in a personal address book that needs to be deleted / update?[string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "

1. Try deleting the N2K cache for a problem user.
2. Send an email via OWA with the problem user see if it still happens
3. Create a new profile for the problem user/delete the OST if exists and try again
4. Try another PC for the problem user where they havnt logged on beforeSukh

Hi texan767,
Since this issue only occur on one user, I suggest you follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem:
1.
Check whether this issue will occur in OWA or not?
2.
If this issue not occur in OWA, I suggest you recreate a new profile to have try.
Thanks,
Evan
